It’s 7 AM- Do You Know Where your Realtor is?

Today’s Newsletter is Sponsored by Wicked Reserve

The year was 1986, and I was dancing at a discotheque.

My shoulder pads entered the room before I did. Smoke hung over the dance floor. The lights were pink, the carpet was red, and the bass was loud enough to rearrange your plans.

Someone asked what I did.

I reached into my purse and handed him my business card.

He held it beneath the neon.

“House.Roc?” he said. “What is this shit?”

“It’s real estate entertainment, baby.”

He laughed.

“It’ll never last.”

Well, I’m here to tell you: it’s now the 21st century—

and House.Roc is still kicking.

THE HOUSE.ROC MANIFESTO

People hate Realtors.

The way they hate Mondays, airport traffic on a Friday afternoon, the DMV, hold music, root canals and…

Taxes.

Good.

Because we are not building another brokerage.

For decades, the real estate industry has dressed itself in the same costume:

A headshot, a handshake, a sign in the yard and a smile that nobody believes. The names change, the faces change and the logos change…

But the loathing never does.

A home was never, for anyone, actually a transaction. It is the physical, thirty-year-fixed-rate container for everything a person is trying to become — ambition, appetite, the low hum of wanting to be seen as having arrived somewhere — one of the only truly novelistic decisions most people ever get to make, and the industry's response has been to hand them a disclosure form.

So we asked a different question.

What happens if you point the camera at what's actually there, instead of at the sign in the yard?

The Agent becomes a Character.

The Rejected Offer becomes the Plot twist.

The Closing becomes a Happy Ending.

We even designed our own Goal Setting System designed to build characters - that buy and sell Real Estate.

A fully immersive, empowering, dream-fulled Real Estate Experience- making real estate fun, engaging, entertaining aspirational but achievable.

Client-centric, one stop Real Estate Shop.

From kid friendly educational content, to adult real estate erotica.

The American Dream stops being the thing everyone's contractually pretending to sell, and becomes the thing we're finally allowed to participate in.

We are not a real estate company with a content department bolted on for optics.

We are a Media Company.

Most companies use media to advertise the product; at House.Roc, the Media is the product.

Real estate already contains everything worth watching:

Desire, Conflict, Impossible Deadlines, changing fortunes and people convinced that one Zipcode could transform their lives.

The Drama was always there.

We are the thing real estate never had: a Movie Star.

Real Artist. Real Immigrant. Real Story.

This is House.Roc.

Real Estate. Made for TV.
