Divorce Coaching
“Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean.”
The best Realtors share the best resources. Today, I wanted to introduce you to someone I truly admire for her creativity in business.
Rachel is a Divorce Specialist and a realtor and decided to marry these two passions into a much needed niche. Divorce is the least fun thing to go through and having guidance and support is essential. Real Estate and division of assets is a complicated matter to resolve and can leave many scars. The home two people shared together: memories, dreams, equity…
It has been the biggest pleasure to know Rachel, as a colleague and as her client. Follow Rachel on Socials, reach out if you need her services or share if you know someone who might.

Who do you think you are?
I was born in Stamford, Connecticut but have called Rochester my home for as long as I can remember. I’m a mother of 3, stepmother of 2, and recently became a grandmother.
How did your business find you? Was it a calling or it caught you by surprise?
I stumbled upon Divorce Coaching…but as soon as I found it – I knew it was what I needed when I got divorced and that I wanted to be able to help others, so that no one had to go through the process of divorce without knowing “all the things”, so to speak, that they needed to know.
What are you trying to accomplish with this Program/ Business?
My goal is to get the word out that “Divorce Coaches” exist and that our purpose is not to replace anyone in the divorce process, but to help people navigate it. Divorce falls under the “you don’t know what you don’t know” category in people’s lives.
Who would be an ideal client? Who can benefit the most from using your services?
My ideal client is either a woman or a man who is facing a divorce and doesn’t even know where to start. If they find me in the beginning, I can walk them through all of their options and help them navigate the process from the beginning.
What is the most common cause/ issues that propel people to get a divorce
Infidelity is often what propels someone to pursue a divorce but the underlying issues. Usually come down to finances, trust, or the ability to effectively communicate with one another to get their needs met.
In your opinion, what is the most challenging thing when navigating a divorce?
When kids are involved, it’s often how to create two homes and schedules that cause the least disruption to the children’s lives as possible and how to keep the kids needs above their own. Regardless of whether there are kids or not, the finances and the division of the assets and what each side feels is “fair” are often big issues. Matrimonial attorneys often refer to “fair” as their four letter word.
What can clients expect from your services?
Each clients needs are different, so my coaching is different for each person. They may need help with technical things like filling out a Statement of Net Worth or choosing what modality they should use to obtain their divorce, or they may need help figuring out how to tell their spouse that they want a divorce or how to co-parent with a difficult ex.
What question do you wish I had asked?
Usually, a big question is what is the cost of divorce coaching. There are so many expenses associated with divorce that sometimes people are hesitant to engage another professional. However, I usually save people money in the end. My services are much less per hour than attorneys and mediators, and I don’t charge to read and respond to emails. I encourage my clients, when they have questions or issues, to reach out to me first to see If I can help, before they add additional hours to their attorney bills. I help clients become organized and credible clients, so the attorneys or mediators can do what they need to do.
What is the best way to schedule an appointment with you?
By visiting my website www.compassionatedivorcecoaching.com - where they can schedule a complimentary consultation or purchase and schedule sessions. I also offer packages for additional savings.
