10 Things to Gift the Realtor in your Life
“And when love speaks, the voice of all the gods
Make heaven drowsy with the harmony.”
Rockies, it’s your realtor speaking.
Today is Love Day. Although @house.roc it’s always love day. I wanted to take some time today and write a special newsletter. One dedicated to the realtor in your life. The one that works tirelessly to show you houses we know you can’t afford but we don’t want to break your heart. The one that constantly checks in on you. Sends you statistics and CMA’s even though you mostly likely don’t know what anything means. Your realtor, the one that sends you endless flyers, bottle openers, magnates and all with their name on it. The one that never gets the hint even tho you never pick up the phone, answer the texts or wants to meet for coffee.
Yes, I work hard for you… I mean, WE work hard for you. Knowing all your kids names, birthdays, deaths, and still manages to record themselves doing dances on the internet because thats how you get business these days.
Here a Realtor’s Wish List: 10 ideas to gift the Realtor in your Life. Show them Love:
Flowers, chocolates, candy, strawberries, any other food related items, including but not limited to gift cards and coupons. There’s nothing routine about this job so chances are your realtor is always hungry. My best clients have always fed me.
Books, tickets to the movies, candles, bath accessories, perfumes, trips to the mall, trips to the museum, etc. Our Business is to be the Best we can Be at all moments in Time. It’s not a job, it’s a lifestyle many can’t handle. Spoil. Spoil. Spoil.
Spoil. Spoil. Spoil.
Jewelry and fur is ALWAYS acceptable. Your realtor works long hours to make sure you have access to the best of the best. Stagers, attorneys, plumbers, inspectors, lender, you name it. Whilst only getting paid a small percentage fee, at the end of the service. You’re lucky to have a real one on your side. No price is too high to pay for loyalty.
Vacations and trips are a necessity of any realtor. In an increasing global market, you need a Realtor with global perspective. Splurge on domestic and international travel, all expenses paid of course. And make sure it’s for your realtor only. You don’t need to join. Keep your calendar free and collect those miles. Splurge.
Splurge. Splurge. Splurge.
Because your Realtor is very busy with shopping and traveling, you must compensate for this effort and stay in touch with your Realtor. If you see something, say something. Reach out. Stay in Touch. Or you will be forgotten. Do your homework. And don’t bother your realtor with non-sense. If you can find it on google…
Work hard. Read more. Study more. Your Realtor wants nothing more than to see you succeed. The more money you have, the more you can spend on me. I mean, them. US! I believe in You!
Technology and software: computers, phones and gadgets alike. Your Realtor needs to stay on top of all things tech. Outdated technology, Outdated Realtor. Stay cutting edge. Being Cheap gets you cheap.
Give your Realtor the Gift of Time. Don’t bother during nap time. Don’t bother during sleep time. or Meal Time. or Prayer Time. or Reading Time. Just don’t them.
Your Realtor Loves You,
Filipa
