Real Estate Pursuit

Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Real Estate

"He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." -

F. W. Nietzsche

A Game for those who Seek to Find, a Way to leave Broke days Behind.

The Dice are Rolled, the Cards are Laid,The One who Finishes will be Self-Made.

In the Game of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Real Estate there will be plenty of moments where our grounds seem shaky, at best.

Following your aspirations comes with a terrible amount of disappointment. In ourselves or others. It’s draining, long, tedious and requires a lot of Faith in yourself and in the belief systems you have put in place to aid you in your path.

No matter what you choose to dedicate your life to, it will come with inevitable pitfalls and heartaches.

Such is the Game of Life.

Buying a house may be something you feel absolutely sure about. Yet, it can come with lots of inconvenient moments: Doubts, confusion, rejection, frustration, unexpected fees.

It is important to assure we build our foundations nice and strong. That we spend enough time drilling down, grounding and preparing ourselves for the task ahead. ALWAYS build your “House on a Rock”.

There are moments however, that we must take the step. We must rush forward with confidence that we have what we need and we have the capacity of obtaining that which we don’t have yet but need. It’s virtually impossible to see all the steps before engaging in the ascend. A lot of times we build the step in the moment we step on it. This requires attention, courage and faith.

Nietzsche warned us, in his 1886 masterpiece “Beyond Good & Evil, a Prelude to a philosophy of the Future”, that many times when we are crossing this bridge between who we were and who we want to be, that we don’t spend too much time looking down. Looking down at the abyss bellow us, lest we may become the fears that lurk in the darkness. And we may see ourselves reflected in them. Afraid, incapable and frozen. Unable to move forward from ourselves. Wrestling with our own inner monsters.

Today’s card is highlights the necessity of Focus on what’s in front of us. Never on what we have left behind. If the grounds seems unstable and your confidence in your plans and in your ability to see through to fruition feel rattled, know that the only solution is to stay engaged with the Vision.

When dancing or doing yoga we, often times, loose our balance. The movements and poses are taking us places our bodies have never been before. We fight with ourselves to return to the familiar and remain in control. Go back to having two feet on the ground! But there is no growth there. It is virtually impossible to move somewhere new if both our feet are planted.

We want to believe “balance’ is the absence of chaos or disorder. But balance is the management of chaotic forces.

The only way to attain balance as you dance is not to go back to safety. It is to reach out and reach higher.

Focus on the New.

Focus on the Dream.

Focus on the Vision.

Allow it to stretch you upwards and refrain from looking back or down in fear.

“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.” Isaiah
